To do a check of the brake trigger

  1. Start the product and make sure that the saw chain does not touch the ground or an object. See To start the product for instructions.
  2. Hold the product tight. Put your hands around the handles.
  3. Apply full power and tilt your left wrist forward to engage the chain brake.
  4. Make sure that the saw chain stops directly.
WARNING: Do not let go of the front handle!
